- Felix Dietrich holds a degree in technical mathematics and has been admitted as both a German and a European patent attorney since 2011.
- Felix Dietrich began his training as a patent attorney at a renowned law firm in Munich in 2007 and worked there after being admitted as a German and European patent attorney until 2018. He then worked for a large nationwide law firm in Berlin. Felix Dietrich has been part of Michael Platzöder’s team since 2021, initially at a renowned Munich IP law firm and finally at Platzöder Patentanwaltsgesellschaft since 2025.

Felix Dietrich studied technical mathematics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and specialized in mechanical engineering and computer science with a focus on medical technology. He advises clients in the following specialist areas in particular:

Consulting practice
Felix Dietrich has many years of experience in conducting patent grant proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) (Patent Prosecution). In addition to drafting patent applications, this includes in particular the conduct of examination proceedings, including opposition and appeal proceedings. Furthermore, he supports his clients in the development and maintenance of their patent portfolios and is also familiar with the preparation of freedom-to-operate (FTO) opinions.
